Why faith based counseling or therapy?

We offer faith based professional and supportive counseling to facilitate the "living out" of our consumers' spiritual development and growth along lifes journey.

Through faith-based therapy, we begin to explore those areas of conflict between the true core values and the living out of these values through choice and action. Therapy is focused on identification of thoughts and behaviors which support the life conflict using clinical and spiritual principles.

Substance Abuse

  • Substance Abuse Evaluations for  state DUI and DWI conviction
  • Substance Abuse Education Intervention Groups for adolescents and adults

  • **Opoid abuse services and detoxification are not offered.

    Fees

    Counseling services are primarily fee for service and currently limited third party payments are accepted. We will be happy to provide consumers with an insurance ready reciept which the consumer can submit to their insurance company. Journeys End Counseling is also a provider for certain income eligible community programs such as, TANF and FSPT when funding is available. Accepted forms of payment are cash, personal checks, debit and credit cards. Payment is due at time of service.

    Now accepting Staywell, Healthease and Wellcare Medicaid HMO insurance.

    Seeking Contract Therapists

    If you have experiencing in engaging and successfully working with children, adolescents or adults or families in an outpatient community setting. We are seeking therapists willing to provide services  in Orange, Seminole, Osceola  and Polk counties. Successful applicants must be state licensed and have an active Medicaid number, please send your resume to: taustin@journeysendcounseling.com. Interested applicants must have a graduate degree in counseling or social work, experience in community mental health and the child welfare system.
