For many people today is a day off. I remember the day MLK was assinated. It was a day of fear and worry about safety and the future. I was 8 years old and my mom came to the school because of rioting. Many of the adults in my family were bracing for the unknown. As a child, I feared that everything that was normal and safe in my community would be destroyed or burned in the rioting. Dr. king was a real person, with a real purpose and presence.
My life at the age was forever impacted and I decided to seize the day in all that I do. How do you seize the day?
